A unique private collection – La Storia in Rosso, chronicles the design, construction, and racing triumphs of the legendary Enzo Ferrari and his iconic automotive brand.

DPM created the graphic identity working with typographic designer Alaric Garnier. The word marque is inspired by early 20th century Italian condensed letterforms found within the archive. This is paired with a bespoke monoline typeface that references typography found in engineering drawings, engraved machine parts and trophies. The identity also includes a monogram – recalling the tradition of motorsport emblems.

Coloured anodised aluminium labels and panels were engraved to utilise the characteristics of the monoline typeface and underline its connection to the objects. A collection of racing helmets are labelled with printed leather discs that sit below.
